| While members of her former band are getting into hair-tearing scrapes in suburban chain pubs, former Sugababe Siobhán Donaghy shakes off traces of her former life as 'the ginger one' with gusto. If 2003's quickly forgotten debut 'Revolution In Me' took tentative steps towards remaking Donaghy as a future pop saviour, 'Ghosts' delivers on that promise. | Siobahn Donaghy was always the odd one out in the original Sugababes - a lanky book-worm trapped between two sharp-as-nails style queens. Citing "years of inter-band tension, personality clashes and creative grievances", Donaghy tearfully jumped ship just before the 'Babes went stellar with "Freak Like Me". Mutya Buena and Keisha Buchanan muttered in the press that Siobhan was - horror! - into indie rock, and it was all gearing up to be quite an exciting face-off....full text |

| Ex-Sugababes are in danger of becoming as plentiful as ex-members of the Fall, but Siobhan Donaghy, the waif-like, flame-haired original member of the sassy trio, ought to stand more than a passing chance of achieving something outside of the group. Four years ago she released a debut solo album which suggested serious potential in her young voice for vulnerable, gossamer pop, but the intervening time has allowed perhaps only four songs from that set to remain impressive.
