| | Manchestereveningnews | The music of Alabama 3 has graced everything from The Simpsons to The Sopranos. Once you get over the fact that the band have celebrity status via popular culture, you are free to judge this album on its own merits.
The styles veer from country and western, rock, rap and reggae. This does leave you with a muddled feeling as the tracks do not feel connected in any way. 'Lockdown' for example is deeply old fashioned, whereas the following track 'Monday Don’t Mean Anything' sounds like your dad attempting to be trendy....full text |
