| Something about this third single from recent LP Talkie Walkie might sound slightly familiar. Not for lack of originality - this is as quirky and intriguing as anything the Gallic duo have ever dreamt up - but thanks to a long-running mobile phone advert which used the whistled melody as its signature. As the full track unfolds some brilliant little touches are revealed, including twangy spaghetti-Western guitars and what sounds like a filtered helicopter blade fluttering away behind the beats - all helping to scrub away that stubborn ad grime and lend our ears something fresh....full text |

| Air release ‘Alpha Beta Gaga’ with Mark Ronson remixes on the single to make for an interesting collaboration. Cool cat Mark Ronson has propelled to fame recently and is an excellent producer. The original ‘Alpha Beta Gaga’ single featured on their recent album ‘Talkie Walkie’ has been beefed up by Ronson, hitting harder on the beats and giving the single a bit of funk. It’s dancier and less complicated. Rhymefest features raps on one version that is well done but is truly surprising to think someone could rap to Air.
