| Good Points: The Killers return with another new sound. This song is driven by an ever so subtle guitar and pounding Europop beats making it highly danceworthy. The synthersizer gives it the polished finished of the Pet Shop Boys, soaring between verses to confirm human as yet another Killers epic. Bad Points: The lyrics leave a lot to be desired as the songs meaning is so unclear but then again it could be hailed as a perfect example of concise songwriting. Human lacks the kind of chorus that made The Killers so big. General comments: All in all a catchy and concise yet complex pop song not as instantly pleasing as previous hits but it bodes well for the bands upcoming album....full text |

| “Human” is The Killer’s next single, taken off their latest album, “Day & Age”. It sounds a little like Pet Shop Boys meet New Order. I was taken aback when the beat came a buzzing, but after a while, thought it was OK. Still, it’s nowhere near to their previous efforts, with songs like “For Reasons Unknown”, “When We Were Young” and “Great Big Sled”. Irrespective of that, I look forward to their album, scheduled for released at the end of November....full text |
