Liza Minnelli: The Complete A&M Recordings, a two CD set comprising remastered and remixed versions of four albums, one single, and several outtakes recorded between 1968 and 1972, will be released by Collector's Choice Music on Tuesday, November 25. The collection includes four albums never released on CD in the United States: Liza Minnelli, Come Saturday Morning, New Feelin', and Live at the Olympia in Paris. Selections include songs from Randy Newman, John Denver, Peter Allen, and John Kander and Fred Ebb. Minnelli will return to Broadway on December 3 for a limited run at the Palace Theater. She won the Tony Award for her work in The Act, the Academy Award for Cabaret, and The Emmy Award for Liza With a "Z", among other honors....full text |

| To celebrate the 40th anniversary of their debut, Collector's Choice Music will release in November a two-CD set featuring Liza Minnelli's entire catalogue for A&M Records. Entitled "Liza Minnelli: The Complete A&M Recordings," the collection is due in stores Nov. 25. Restored and remastered directly from the original master tapes, the set comprises four albums, one single and several rare outtakes that were recorded between 1968 and 1972. "The Complete A&M Recordings" include the studio albums "Liza Minnelli" (1968), "Come Saturday Morning " (1969) and "New Feelin'" (1970) as well as Minnelli's first in-person solo recording, "Live at the Olympia in Paris" (1972). Among the titles are songs by Randy Newman ("Debutante's Ball"), John Denver ("Leavin' on a Jet Plane") and Peter Allen ("Simon") as well as tunes from the Great American Songbook, Hollywood and Broadway, including selections by Kander and Ebb ("Liza With a 'Z,'" and "Cabaret").
