THE third, and avowedly best, album from the quirky combo from Hove.
Amber certainly sounds like nothing else. Cop an earful of Good Clean Fun and you hear a seething morass of sound from which emerges a guitar solo so strange and fragmentary that it resembles a malfunctioning stylophone....full text |

| Clearlake are a band so out of fashion they could change their name to Charles Kennedy and embark on a lost weekend with Ian Huntley in tow. The musical landscape has altered somewhat since they appeared around the turn of the century and you'd imagine with indie in the ascendancy as it is, Clearlake would be like dogs who've found a nice tree to piss on.
