Like any addiction a killer pop habit starts innocently enough, maybe by innocently running across a used copy of Pet Sounds when you have an extra seven bucks in your pocket, maybe because you gave into your curiosity that summer you dated someone with a massive record collection. Soon enough, though, you'd developed a taste, built a tolerance and found yourself addicted: You'll find yourself trolling lists of import Swedish singles in hope of a three-minute fix, wearing headphones for most of your waking hours and coming into work late because you stayed in the car until "Daydream Believer" was over on the oldies radio station....full text I'm writing this review 2,000 miles in the air. The stewardess is shooting me admonishing glares, since we're not at "cruising altitude" yet, and I'm using an electronic device...but I think I'll ignore her and listen to Youth Group instead.
