 Steve Albini was there. He came to me in a dream and said "If you're building, they will come." And they did. And they built. They built into swirling beautiful summations of stories I don't know, but should, into fleeting whimsical questions ("Are You There?"—track 4), into simple crushing defeat and the final rising victory of seeing "Moonlight" (track 6) peek through sagging clouds.
