After all, 2001's 'Melody A.M.' trod in the hallowed footsteps of 'Moon Safari', 'You've Come A Long Way, Baby' and 'Play' in terms of being deservedly, utterly ubiquitous, and the follow-ups to those albums were hamstrung - respectively - by ill-advised diversification, the evaporation of the creative springwell, and a general neglect of quality control....full text |
