They dress like extras from Russell Brand: The Musical, all back-combed hair, circulation-inhibiting trousers and shoddy eyeliner, but the Horrors have respectable influences. Count in Fives owes more than just its spiralling punk clatter to 60s garage rockers the Sonics. | In the run-up to this debut album's release, there seemed to be a Horrors backlash brewing. A rumour abounded that the band had only six songs and needed their producer to finish writing the album.
