 Big Business is a pretty polarizing band. From what I gather, people either really love it or just really hate it. It is quite understandable, as the sludgy noise genre is not exactly the most toe-tapping music around. But for the two-headed beast of the now part-time Big Business / part-time Melvins members duo, their second album Here Come the Waterworks takes everything good about the debut and makes it better....full text |

Two heads might be better than one -- but sometimes they're also better than three, four or five. Case in point: Big Business, a bass-and-drums duo from Bigfoot Country who pack more punch in their four arms than a brigade of Finnish death-metal churchburners.
Their second full-length Here Come the Waterworks is another relentlessly intense onslaught of subterranean Sabbath grind-riffage, thunderingly complex drum patterns, a few guitar lines and keyboards for sonic variety, and full-throated vocals that are sorta what Ozzy might sound like if he was still lucid....full text |
