My master plan was to wait until the album was just about to hit stores and then drop a killer hyped-up review for this disc that would convince as many people as possible to go and buy the album. You see, I have a vested interest in how well this album sells. As many of you know AP.net launched the band's free Summer EP last year and now many in the industry are watching how Sherwood's online buzz converts into offline fans and thus into "album purchasing power." So how this album sells directly reflects on AP.net and our current "status" in the music industry. | The California quartet known as Sherwood are doing their best to put a positive spin on the pop-punk scene. On A Different Light, the boys combine sunny riffs and light harmonies to counter any serious subject matter, although even that is kept at a minimum.
