Rihanna was accompanied by some shirtless male dancers during one set and was backed up by some females wearing veils in another. At one point, she sang her song while sitting on a leopard-print throne.

Her Egyptian look-alike for the charity event was made of a gold glittery eye makeup with white and blue hues and completing her look with a snake headdress. The event hosted by by Brian Williams and Seth Meyers and held at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York, was also made merry by music veteran Neil Young and rapper Black Thought. Celebrities who attended the concert were Chelsea Clinton & her husband Marc Mezvinsky, Eli Manning & his wife Abby, as well as Tyra Banks among other public figures.

The clip is mostly a promo, as many upcoming projects from MMG artists are shown during the whole clip, from Meek Mill's DreamChasers 2, to MMG's Self Made 2 mixtape (coming out June 26), or Rick Ross' God Forgives, I Don't album (in store July 31.)

Filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Los Angeles and Tokyo, the clip follows several couples attending some parties, and challenging each other who will end up at the same Calvin Harris concert. The clip culminates with the disc jokey spinning his turntable for a large number of revellers and his featured guest performing in a live concert.

"Let's Go" is expected to appear in Calvin's next studio installment which is yet to be titled. It takes longer to complete the album because he has been occupied with "touring, producing for other people, remixing." Producer explains, "I've not been able to spend as much time in the studio as I'd have liked. I think the main thing I've tried to do with this album is not cover the same old ground," he said of the album to MusicRadar. "It's still sounding quite epic, but that whole 'I'm Not Alone' thing has been done to death."

"Loads of people have jumped on that sound. I want to do something different. I want to challenge myself and feel in danger of messing up. Sometimes, you need to do that to get the best out of yourself."

The singers are replacing last season's Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who both confirmed at the end of the show they are set to leave the judges' table. Spears is reportedly pocketing $15 million for just one series, while former Disney Star Lovato's pay cheque is still a secret, for now.

"I'm absolutely delighted Britney and Demi are joining us," fellow judge Simon Cowell also said as part of the announcement. "Britney remains one of the biggest starts in the world. She's talented, fascinating - and I believe she knows exactly how to spot the X Factor," Simon added, before moving on to discuss fellow new addition Demi Lovato. "Demi's had an amazing career in music, TV and film for someone her age. She's young, confident and enthusiastic. I think it's really important that she speaks to our younger audience," he also explained. "The new panel will be dynamic and will work really well with the changes we are making to the show."

Simon Cowell's talent competition made its first U.S. appearance last year, with young vocalist Melanie Amaro winning the first season. The premiere date for the next season has yet to be announced.

Then we filmed the video two days ago here in London and we edited it on laptops."
will.i.am added: "I've been doing this song since New Year's but taking my time with it, with Steve and Eva, then it's finished on my laptop."

The 37-year-old, currently working on fourth studio album #willpower, added that the music video will be released on Thursday, May 16. T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever) peaked at #36 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #3 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Perhaps this lack of a major hit is why he has yet to announce the release date of #willpower.

Images with Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron as Queen Ravenna, are flashed in between footage of Florence Welch's studio session.

Featuring intense melodies with "big, clattering drums," the song was recorded at the famed Abbey Road with a big number of choir members. Instead of looking up to the protagonist Snow White, Florence took inspiration from the Evil Queen. "It was amazing to see the music we played being turned into this amazing orchestral thing," the Florence and the Machine frontwoman gushed to MTV News during an interview on Monday 14. "You feel in a bit of a way like you're kind of making it up as you go along, and then when you see it done, laid out before you in such a beautiful, orchestral fashion, it's really incredible. And then we all went into Abbey Road and it was one of the best days of my life," she continued. "I love choirs and I love choral music, and there was a 60-piece choir singing the vocal parts that I had written. When the baritones came in, I nearly wept, it was so emotional."

"The Queen is just this incredible character; so hungry for life but so dead inside. She's sort of eternal, but inside there's nothing. She's kind of like charcoal or something," she also said.

The lead singer was particularly fond of a scene where the Queen was "kind of picking out birds' hearts and eating them." The lead singer gushed, "[She has] this thirst for youth and for life, but for what kind of life? This darkness, but she's so beautiful, so it's this kind of juxtaposition between beauty and, ultimately, death."

"I love to write video treatments; I would actually professionally write treatments. I don't even want to direct anything. I just love coming up with outlandish, fun things that I've always wanted to do," he stated. "I don't think they'll be able to play it on MTV actually, because there's guns in it."

The video takes fans inside the room where the band crafted the new song called. They said, "Of all the songs on the album, this is the only collaboration of it's kind. Enjoy!" At the same time, it was revealed that Push and Shove is a collaboration between No Doubt, producer duo Major Lazer and Jamaican artist Busy Signal. The new album that will come out in the United States on September 25. "We are so doing cool hours," Tony Kanal gushed to the camera. "We come in at 09:30 or 10 in the morning because we're all up early. I was up at 06:30 this morning with my daughter. So I got to spend a few hours with her and then head into the studio."

Recalling how they ended up working with Major, he says "We got a call from Jimmy [Iovine] and [he said], 'You should meet these guys. They really want to work with No Doubt.' We had heard of Major Lazer and we had heard of Diplo and Switch. I reached out to them and said, 'Do you have anything or do you want to work on something together?' We all got in the studio together and worked on this track."

The new song is part of Duracell's "Rely On Cooper To Go For The Gold" program in support of the upcoming 2012 London Olympic Games. "I think the song is very synonymous with challenges that many people face in life even beyond the field, beyond the court and beyond the sports," B.o.B told Yahoo! Music Canada. "It's the same place you have to dig from and challenge from when you're an athlete or at an Olympian level. This is the best the world has to offer."

O.A.R. had been working on the song for a year when they were contacted to craft an anthem for the Games. They thought the unfinished song was a perfect fit, so they immediately revisited it and then asked B.o.B to be on it. "This is an artist that is not just a rapper, not just a musician, not just a singer or songwriter, he's done it all," gushed singer Marc Roberge. "This record, sonically, was intended to sound regal, like something that kinda encompasses the Olympics," he continued. The album, yet to be titled will be the sixth studio album for the band, and their first release since Rock Steady in 2001.

Yauch was too ill to attend the induction ceremony which was taped on April 14, but he sent a letter of gratitude read by fellow Beastie Boys members. Rolling Stone reports that the rapper had been in treatment for cancer since 2009. MCA was diagnosed in 2009 after discovering a tumor in his salivary gland. The likes of Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, P. Diddy and Nas have since yesterday, May 4th remembered the rapper and expressed their grief over his passing.

Meanwhile, on Saturday May 5, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announces that the late rapper will be remembered at the end of the show that airs tonight. A photo of the Beastie Boys star will be shown to close the event with text that read "In Memory of Adam Yauch".

In addition to the Yauch tribute, the induction ceremony that was taped on April 14 had been changed to include Levon Helm and Dick Clark during the In Memoriam section. The member of The Band died on April 19, while the former "New Year's Rockin' Eve" host passed away one day prior.

The induction of 2012 Hall of Famers took place at Public Hall in downtown Cleveland, Ohio, during which Beastie Boys were introduced by Chuck D. Yauch was unable to attend the event, but his parents were in attendance. He also sent a letter that was read to audience by fellow bandmate Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz.

"It is with great sadness that we confirm that musician, rapper, activist and director Adam 'MCA' Yauch, founding member of Beastie Boys and also of the Milarepa Foundation that produced the Tibetan Freedom Concert benefits, and film production and distribution company Oscilloscope Laboratories, passed away in his native New York City this morning after a near-three-year battle with cancer," reads an official statement from the Beastie Boys. "He was 47 years old."

In addition to his career with the Beastie Boys, Yauch was heavily involved in the movement to free Tibet. A founder of the Milarepa Fund, Yauch was instrumental in the first Tibetan Freedom Concert in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park 1996, which drew 100,000 people - the largest U.S. benefit concert since 1985's Live Aid. After 9/11, Yauch and the Beastie Boys organized New Yorkers Against Violence, a concert benefit for some of the victims least likely to receive help from elsewhere.

Yauch also directed many of the Beastie Boys' music videos under the pseudonym Nathaniel Hornblower.

Doctors have reportedly warned him that he must wear earplugs in order to save his music career.

"I've had tinnitus for about ten years, but since I started protecting my ears it hasn't got any worse - touch wood," he said in a statement. "The band use moulded filter plugs, or in-ear monitors. You can use industrial headphones but they look strange at a party."

Listening to loud music at gigs or in headphones are common causes of the condition, and Martin believes this is most the likely case for him. "Looking after your ears is unfortunately something you don't think about until there's a problem. I wish I'd thought about it earlier."

Chris Martin has fronted a charity campaign titled Action on Hearing Loss, along with fellow musicians including Plan B, Gary Numan and Boy George. Rapper Plan B has also been stricken by the condition for some time - but initially thought he was just hearing passing trains. He said: "At first I thought it was trains rushing by as I live near a railway line. It's caused by years of being subjected to loud music."

Cars hitmaker Gary Numan added that he is no longer able to mix music after damaging his hearing. He said: "I didn't look after my ears and I'm in trouble."

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of MJ's "Bad" album and tour, the one billion Pepsi cans that feature special edition will be rolled out in China on May 5. The limited edition cans will be made available in the United States in late May, before hitting 20 additional markets in Asia, South America and Europe.

A part of Pepsi's "Live for Now" campaign, the promotion will also include iconic music and epic live events. Fans will also get the opportunities to access special edition merchandise, which include jackets inspired by the original "Bad" tour, new mixes of music from the album and chances to win tickets to performances of Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour show.

John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of MJ's estate, also weighed in on the partnership, "We are thrilled to bring Michael and Pepsi back together, as they were in 1988, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 'BAD' album and tour and to put Michael on one billion Pepsi cans - perhaps a Guinness record." In his post-premiere MTV interview, Bieber claimed he "changed things up" from the scenes he teased to the public, wording it in a way that it might seem he was punking us all the whole time. (A few of those icy blue scenes managed to make the cut, briefly appearing on a cell phone screen at the beginning of the clip.) The gig will kick off July 14th with a show in Montreal, Quebec at the Ball Center. During a press conference this week, the pair revealed details about the tour. Lopez said: "We are going to give you everything we got. I think it's going to be one of the most historic tours ever. Because I don't know that there has ever been something... where these Latinos have come together like this as family." Meanwhile, Enrique chipped in: "I have a bunch of songs with Wisin Y Yandel and obviously with Jennifer." Tickets go on sale Friday, May 4th.

The joint tour came about when Iglesias reached out to Lopez "about eight months ago" to do the 'Mouth 2 Mouth' duet. "It was like, 'I'm going on tour, you're going on tour, maybe we should go on tour together in the States'. And it just kind of happened," Lopez said. "Everybody was really excited about the idea."

Australian Premier Colin Barnett revealed the news on Thursday, May 3rd and promised that the Perth Arena would be "a venue... of unrivalled quality." "West Australians deserve a state-of-the-art venue to attract international entertainment and sporting events to Western Australia and they are now finally about to get one," Mr Barnett also said. "Planning for the opening program continues but activities will include a free concert featuring bands from WA on Friday, November 2," he said. "The State Government will provide funding towards this event and it is proposed that an allocation of 500 double tickets be set aside for workers on the Perth Arena project."

However, the 15,500-capacity development has attracted some controversy as a result of construction delays, rising costs and changes to the design.

Michael has rescheduled several dates on his Symphonica tour for the autumn due to his health scare last year, and his management have confirmed today that he will return to Australia. The musician was forced to cancel a number of concerts when he contracted a life-threatening case of pneumonia.

Michael has announced that he will give away 1,000 tickets to medical staff in Vienna who he credits with saving his life.

The British-Irish boy band One Direction, made up of Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik, will follow Michael with Australian shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Jadakiss gets nostalgic in the clip as he is taking his fans back to Yonkers, New York in 1998 where Jada and his homies spend their younger years. It then switches to the present, showing the rapper sitting alone in the dark and rapping about how he lost those close friends of his.

"Without You" is produced by Joe Milly and samples Freda Payne's "I Won't Last a Day Without You", which is a cover of The Carpenters' 1974 song.

Debuted two weeks ago on April 21st , the track features Hercules & Love Affair's Andy Butler while the clip sees the singer busting some moves along a number of male and female dancers wearing black-and-white outfits.

She is currently working on the follow-up to her 2009 debut Hands titled Into The Future, which includes cover re-works of Kylie Minogue's Slow and Azari & III's Reckless With Your Love. The first single from the new album, Shake was released in November.

The singer (on her real name Victoria Hesketh) will be performing at London's XOYO this weekend, on Saturday, May 5. She will also play two dates with the Scissor Sisters on May 16 and 17 at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.

Lines like "tighter than my leather pants" and "now she in love, like Faizooooooon" try their hardest to derail an otherwise decent song, but, fortunately for Benet, they are unsuccessful.

Karmin have built up quite a following over the past year, and now the duo's fans are looking forward to their major label debut LP Hello, which arrives next week (May 8). Quite simply, Karmin chose the title "because it's our introduction album," they noted on Twitter.

Their second single is titled I'm Just Sayin' and was premiered via Rolling Stone. The band revealed for the website that the track was "one of the first songs we wrote when we moved out to Los Angeles." "We felt very inspired being in a brand new city and meeting lots of new people."

According to Rolling Stone, I'm Just Sayin' was first composed with just a mini-keyboard, floor-banged drum beats and the Voice Memo iPhone feature. The clip opens with the five boys meeting up with some fine ladies at a club, who curiously share the same sun-inspired tattoos on their body. The group embarks on what might be a typical night out at a makeout party and enjoy great time at an exclusive club, but sure enough, all hell breaks loose.

"Chasing the Sun" comes from the band's self-titled U.S. EP, "The Wanted [US Version]". Speaking of what the song is all about, member Jay McGuiness told MTV, "Our song 'Chasing the Sun' is basically about the party that keeps on going." Its music video is directed by Director X, and marks the group's third video collaboration with the helmer of their "Glad You Came" video.

The clip includes the tale of a drug-addicted teenager, which compiles clippings of new and old footage that "explains everything." Some of them include her riding on the backseat of a motorcycle with a young boy and the others show a young stripper working her body around a pole. It kinda narrates the lifestyle of Hollywood party girls like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.
